What we do
We publish the official petrol, diesel, Hi-Octane, kerosene, light diesel oil and jet fuel prices for Pakistan as soon as they are notified. Each figure on the site comes from one of two public sources. The first is the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority's (OGRA) daily price publication, which sets the petrol and diesel price and its full cost breakdown. The second is Pakistan State Oil's (PSO) notified retail prices, which add Hi-Octane by city, kerosene, LDO and JP-1, plus a public price archive going back to 2006.
On top of the raw prices we build tools that answer the questions people actually ask: did the price go up or down, what does a full tank cost, how much will a trip cost, what was the price on a past date, and why did it change. Today the site holds 442 recorded price revisions, with the latest effective 20 October 2026.
Independence
We are not affiliated with OGRA, PSO, the Government of Pakistan or any oil marketing company. We do not sell fuel and are not paid to show any company's prices. Where we show a figure we did not take from an official source, such as typical vehicle mileage, it is labelled as an estimate and the source is named.
How the site stays current
An automated job checks OGRA's publication list several times an hour. When a new publication appears, a scraper downloads the PDF and reads the petrol and diesel price. It then fetches PSO's price page and compares the two. The site is rebuilt only if both sources agree to the paisa and the effective dates match. If they disagree, nothing is published until a person has checked it. Full details are on our methodology page.
